SHALLO

SHALLO is an alternative rock/metal duo from Dublin.

Influenced by bands like Bad Omens, Set It Off and Normandie, they write songs about sad. unimportant stuff like feelings and the struggles of minorities, while trying to look sexy during their "shows" and "performances" With a refusal to speak to guitarists, they combine Shawn Legaspi's fuzzy bass noises with Willow Leavey's heavy and sweaty drums, enhanced further by the duo's vocals that can only be described as constant whining.

Every stage they step onto experience what it means to be part of SHALLO - fun and silliness coupled with fierce and electrifying performances through their unique blend of lifelong musical inspirations. The Grand Social, The Sound House, Whelan's, Sin É and Fibber Magees are only some of the venues graced by the duo.

They released their debut single 'Mirror' in April 2023, marking their first step into the Irish music scene and showing exactly what they can achieve with only two people. Two years later, they released 'Betrayal' in spite of guitarists and bigots around the world.
