Cooks But We're Chefs are an 8-piece band from Dublin. Their sound encapsulates elements of funk, hip-hop, jazz and soul. Their highly energetic live shows have been well-received across Ireland, with slots at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Forbidden Fruit, Life Festival, Bray Jazz Festival, Stendhal and many more, including their own sold out show at Lost Lane. They are set to play Latitude, All Together Now and Electric Picnic later in 2021.
2020 saw the release of their successful EP entitled 'Sports Day', which showcases the wide variety of sounds the band has to offer. There is a wide variety of musical tastes amongst the band. Each member brings their own spice and flavour to the music - creating an overall unique sound that is tricky to define. With a 12 track album currently cooking away in their kitchen, Cooks But We're Chefs are truly 'on the rise'.
