Soundscape chaser & distorter. Sonic storyteller.
Sound artist, composer and producer working across soundscape composition, musique concrète and experimental electronic music.
Based and working in Ireland, my practice explores perception, memory and environment through layered sonic narratives.
I began my career as a founding member of Johnny Horne, composing and performing bass, with live performances across Ireland, Spain and Los Angeles. Seeking to bridge the gap between performance and technical sound design, I later earned a BSc in Music Production and Technology (Distinction) from the Technological University of the Shannon (formerly LIT). This transition shifted my focus from traditional band structures toward composition based predominantly on found sound and experimental processing.
My current work focuses on developing original sound-based compositions, combining field recordings, synthesis and minimal structures. I integrate subtle influences of pop, rock and psychobilly to explore and describe the world through a distinct personal lens. Over the course of the Basic Income for the Arts pilot period, I have been engaged in sustained compositional development, culminating in recent releases across digital platforms, marking a transition into a more focused phase of production and dissemination.
