The Spudguns

The Spudguns are a band from County Wicklow, Ireland founded by four lifelong friends. Bringing you tunes from the Garden County.

Working out of their studio “Big Beef Sound” in Arklow Co. Wicklow, the band has refined their DIY-style approach to recording, while shaping their unique sound. Their music takes inspiration from surf rock and garage rock, with subtle touches of psychedelia.

They have played up and down Ireland in venues such as Whelans, Sin E, Fred Zeppelins, The Harbour Bar and notably the Spike Island stage at Electric Picnic in 2025.

The band's music has received praise from outlets such as 'District Magazine, 'RTE', 'Hot Press' and 'Void Magazine'.

Their debut EP 'Notions' was released in December 2025.
