Star Current

Combining the lush delicacies of indie rock and the unforgiving grittiness of punk, Star Current, influenced by the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths and Rage Against the Machine, have knitted together a tight fanbase with their chorusy, effect driven guitars, intricate basslines, thunderous drumming and powerful vocals that create a high-energy, immersive experience, creating a memorable atmosphere with every show they play.

Forming in early 2025 as part of a college assignment, Star Current have played many venues around Dublin, such as Whelans, Fibbers and The Soundhouse, as well as venues in Longford and Kildare, generating buzz around the band and making them ones to watch in the Dublin scene in the coming year.
