Open For Delivery is a Dublin-based Midwest Emo band, drawing inspiration from genre staples like American Football, sports., and Camping in Alaska. Formed in college through shared classes and mutual friends, the four-piece quickly bonded over their love for intricate melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and pushing the boundaries of what emo can sound like.

Their sound weaves together shimmering, clean-toned guitar lines with lush, effect-driven textures, reminiscent at times of The Smiths, but rooted firmly in the emotional grit of emo. A punk-inflected bass style ties everything back to math rock’s hardcore origins, while dynamic drumming and shifting time signatures drive songs that balance technical precision with raw emotion. Vulnerable lyrics and an unpolished, honest vocal delivery give their music a sense of urgency and authenticity, creating a unique blend of math rock and indie that redefines Midwest Emo while staying true to its spirit.

Visually, Open For Delivery lean into a playful, tongue-in-cheek aesthetic.
