About the band
Rizla Silvers are a Dublin alt-rock trio known for their raw energy, heavy riffs, and anthemic hooks. The band, Craig McEneff (vocals/guitar), Steve Dwyer (bass/vocals), and Jude Finn (drums), have quickly built a reputation for explosive live shows that leave crowds buzzing. Recent performances include Croílar Festival in Athlone, Workman’s Main Stage, and Whelan’s, where their relentless sets have marked them out as one of Dublin’s most exciting new live acts.
The band’s story began in the smoking area of a Dublin gig, where Steve and Craig first crossed paths. Craig mentioned his band had just lost their bass player to London, and despite only recently picking up the instrument, Steve talked up his abilities and joined the fold. With Craig’s old workmate Jude later stepping in on drums, Rizla Silvers were born, built on chance meetings, quick chemistry, and a shared hunger to make noise.
Their sound fuses grit with melody, marrying sharp riffs and driving rhythms with soaring choruses. Drawing influence from the likes of Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, and Biffy Clyro, Rizla Silvers balance raw aggression with groove and atmosphere, creating songs that feel urgent and cathartic in equal measure.
The trio have released three singles to date — Berlin, Happily Ever Afters, and most recently Disconnect (2025) — with more new music scheduled for release in the coming weeks. With a growing following and a run of shows lined up across 2025, Rizla Silvers are stepping forward as a vital new voice in Ireland’s alt-rock scene.
