Nick Anthony

Cork-born Singer Songwriter Colm O'Brien has been honing his songwriting craft for over 10 years, through years of training, experimentation, and collaboration. As a solo artist he has performed with Anna Mieke at Quarter Block Party, and with Christy Moore to a sold-out Opera House as part of a benefit concert for the late Don O'Leary.

With a deep passion for eccentric lyricism, Sean-Nós singing, and complex time signatures, his sound is wholly his own, captivating audiences wherever he goes. His vision is to modernise Traditional Irish music for the next generation of listeners.

He founded the Nick Anthony Project in 2020, creating an EP of his songs in the isolation of lockdown.
With their collective love of all things Art Rock, they helped take his sound to the next level with atmospheric 4-piece arrangements, channeling progressive metal and post-rock alike.
