Jackie Rea is a Cork-based singer-songwriter, rapper, and spoken word artist whose music moves between hip-hop, electronic, drum and bass, blues, jazz, and soul. She has been writing poetry and lyrics since a very young age, and in recent years she has grown in confidence and had the opportunity to record her vocals and contribute her creativity to a range of exciting projects. Her music is rooted in honesty and empowerment, often turning pain and lived experience into songs that feel personal, hopeful, and real.
Alongside her own writing and performances, Jackie has built a wide creative practice through collaborations in music, TV, film, and community projects across Ireland. She has done vocal work for television, contributed to the Christy soundtrack, worked with The Kabin Studio on youth-led projects, and collaborated with Kalabanx on original music. She also contributed to The Spark, the Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew track that was longlisted for the 67th Grammy Awards and won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year.
She brings heart, energy, and purpose to everything she does, using music as a way to uplift, connect, and help others find their voice.
