"One to keep a beady eye on for 2019". Tony Clayton Lea - The Irish Times

“Absolutely love her voice. She has a big future ahead of her, absolutely no doubt.” - Today FM Presenter Ed Smith

“With a unique voice that has been likened to Blondie's Debbie Harry meets Irish Songstress Gemma Hayes, the singer's wide vocal range and hooky melodies along with her uncompromising stage presence have made her stand out from the musical crowd.” - The Irish Daily Mirror

“A bona fide summer anthem with an infectious melody and a memorable chorus... ELLYD is one of Ireland's brightest young acts.” - Hot Press

“Hot on the heels of the mainstream denting single ‘Close’, comes ‘Sorge’ a track that looks set to turn even more heads for this talented Dublin tunesmith. A dark and delicious alt pop slow burner that’s driven by some wonderful rumbling bass, it really rewards with repeat plays. ELLYD’s greatest weapon on this track is her voice which conjures up images of Siouxsie Sioux and Gemma Hayes and she uses it to deliver some knockout hooks.” - HOT PRESS
