Touzai is an Asian-Irish band blending 90s alternative, shoegaze, and heartfelt lyricism into a sound both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Touzai’s music explores themes of identity and belonging, drawing inspiration from the lead singer’s Hong Kong heritage and Irish upbringing.
With recognition from Stephen McCauley and Dan Hegarty, Touzai's music has been heard across the country.
The band received support during their time on PRS funded talent development scheme, 'Scratch My Progress' and has been busy playing shows and festivals around Ireland, including support slots with rising bands Honeyglaze and Sunday (1994), and showcasing at Output Belfast 2025.
