Theresa McKenna is a singer-songwriter and pianist from Drogheda, Ireland, based between Dublin and the Netherlands. Blending classical training with contemporary songwriting, she creates emotionally rich, melody-driven music rooted in storytelling and influenced by her Irish heritage, weaving in elements of the Irish language.
Following her debut single Impossible (2018), Theresa has continued to build momentum with her evocative sound. The release of Blue Eyes (Jan, 2026), the first single from her debut album EchoHeart, saw her selected for BBC Introducing Northern Ireland’s Sound of 2026, marking her as a rising artist to watch.
A compelling live performer, she has toured internationally with Best of Ireland and supported artists including Emma Langford, Síomha, and Brian Kennedy. Her background in musical theatre at the Gaiety School of Acting informs her dynamic, emotionally driven performances.
Her debut album EchoHeart, due late 2026, explores themes of identity, womanhood, and living in Ireland today.
