Refining elements of no-wave and shoegaze into “sheets of distortion and [a] gripping sense of catharsis“ (Evening Echo), and described as "one of the most promising of the new wave of ‘quiet-loud-scary’ bands haunting venues up and down Ireland“ (Ellevenses), Cork trio Therapy Horse marshal a gamut of influences including Lingua Ignota, Wednesday, Mogwai and Slint, as well as Irish acts such as Percolator and Elastic Sleep, into an exorcistic wall of sound.Having sold out their first Cork headliner and shared bills with acts like I Dreamed I Dream whilst also gaining a foothold in the Limerick scene, Therapy Horse intend to capitalise on this momentum by releasing a debut single in the coming months.
