Supervoid

Rock // Belfast, Antrim

If Jeff Buckley was pulled into a
spacey, synth-soaked world of
huge riffs, soaring climaxes, and
relentless forward motion, it
might sound something like
Supervoid. The four-piece
alternative rock band from
Belfast channel soaring falsetto
vocals, fuzz-drenched guitars, and heavy, hypnotic grooves into songs that ache with longing
while demanding the biggest possible stages.
Drawing comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Muse, and Biffy Clyro, Supervoid fuse
emotional vulnerability with cinematic scale — writing music that feels built to swell,
collapse, and erupt in front of massive crowds. Since forming, the band have moved with
clear intent, building momentum through consistent releases and an ever-evolving sound that
grows bolder with each step.
Their debut EP, Absent Glow, received strong recognition across the UK and Irish alternative
scenes for its ambition, atmosphere, and sonic depth. Their latest release, the three-track
Animator EP, marks a defining leap forward — introducing synth textures and a distinct
video-game-nostalgia influence that pushes the band into immersive, widescreen territory
without losing intensity.
On stage, Supervoid are unapologetically ambitious. Their live shows are high-energy,
emotionally charged, and deeply interactive — feeding off crowd connection and constantly
pushing for more scale and impact. Their first ever show was a sold-out debut, followed by
standout performances at Belfast’s historic Empire Music Hall and Mandela Hall, where they
drew the largest crowds of the night. In 2025, the band played their first headline show at The
Union Bar, Belfast — a cathartic, crowd-driven performance described by Crows and Bones
Photography as “the best show of ’25.” With every show, Supervoid sound bigger, bolder,
and more certain of where they’re headed.
