Sleepy Days are an emerging indie rock band based in Dublin, Ireland, made up of Conor Dwyer (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Michael O'Kane (lead guitar & backing vocals), Alex Ganje (bass) and Aaron Lacumber (drums). The band met while studying at BIMM Dublin, after a chance encounter found them rallying into the college’s recording studio to help rescue a mutual friend’s end-of-year project. Their chemistry was instant and electric, and from that impromptu session, Sleepy Days was born.
The band enjoy drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres to craft a sound that’s uniquely their own. Their influences span from Japanese rock to synth-pop and surf rock, and their adventurous “try everything!” attitude means that no style is off limits to them. Their music weaves together driving grooves and dreamy chords with expansive synth textures and introspective lyrics, all anchored by a permeating rock’n’roll spirit that keeps the energy high and the crowd hopping.
In 2020, the band independently recorded, produced and released their debut single 'Devil on the Shelf'. Following this, they finished college and honed their craft on the Dublin live scene and beyond. In 2024, they headed to Dublin's legendary Windmill Lane Recording Studios, where they recorded their highly anticipated sophomore single 'Night Owl', which prior to it's February 2025 release was featured by RTÉ 2FM’s Beta Da Silva on the New Music Show as his 2FM Grassroots Pick of the Week.
