Si Noble is an Irish-based singer-songwriter whose music blends introspective storytelling with richly textured indie rock, shaped by more than two decades in the West of Ireland’s alternative scene. A seasoned performer, he first emerged as the frontman of Mugger Dave, releasing What’s She Doing Here? in 2010, and later as the lead singer of indie-rock band Cranky Face, before stepping into a compelling solo career that showcases a more personal and expansive creative vision.
His debut solo single, “Warm Air,” produced by Mercury Prize-nominated artist Ed Harcourt, introduced a reflective and bittersweet sound, combining acoustic guitars, strings, and swelling arrangements to explore themes of emotional transition and release. This was followed by the vibrant and theatrical “Kiss Goodnight,” an exuberant second single driven by 60s Brit-rock energy, sharp lyrical irony, and a dynamic arrangement that builds toward a brassy, speakeasy-inspired crescendo. Together, these releases highlight Noble’s ability to move between intimacy and bold, cinematic expression.
Continuing this momentum, Noble will release “The Witching Hour” on April 10th, a haunting and emotionally charged single that delves into love, guilt, and late-night vulnerability. The track sets the tone for his forthcoming debut solo album, The Witching Hour, due in summer 2026. The record, also produced by Ed Harcourt, is expected to bring together the contrasting elements of Noble’s songwriting—tenderness and intensity, melancholy and uplift—into a cohesive and evocative body of work.
With a sound that draws from classic influences while remaining distinctly his own, Si Noble’s solo work reflects an artist refining his voice with clarity and depth. His songs capture the fragile tension between connection and solitude, offering listeners music that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
