Sarah Power is a Dublin-based composer, pianist, and producer whose debut EP In The Shadows, released in November 2025, marks a defining step into her own artistic voice. Blending felted piano, strings, and subtle electronic textures, the record features strings by Gareth Quinn Redmond (Throwing Shapes) and has received airplay across Ireland, the UK, as well as internationally in the US, France, and Germany. The EP’s opening single Night Whisper was featured on Classical Wind Down with Bressie on BBC3. Its release saw her sell out back-to-back shows at The Dot Theatre, while a 120% successful Kickstarter campaign will see In The Shadows released on vinyl ahead of her upcoming single Prelude — a reimagined, cinematic version of Chopin’s Prelude in E minor.

Alongside her artist work, she collaborates regularly with Irish composer Kormac, contributing to scores including These Sacred Vows (written and directed by John Butler), and is currently working on Dear England (BBC One) and a two-part documentary for TG4.

She is also a long-time collaborator with songwriter Stephanie Rainey, working as a songwriter, producer, and session musician. Together, they were quarter-finalists on America’s Got Talent in 2024 with their song WOMAN, which has since reached over 135 million views on TikTok. They have performed at Electric Picnic, Malahide Castle, Live at the Marquee, and toured extensively across Europe.

With a long-standing presence in Ireland’s music industry, Sarah’s work spans screen, stage, and artist-led projects with a versatility shaped by years spent behind the scenes. In The Shadows represents a shift from the engine room of other artists’ successes into a more personal, expressive space, where restraint, and emotional depth take centre stage.
