Blending alt-rock grit with intimate storytelling, Roo Elizabeth is carving her own space in modern Irish music. Her sound moves between the intensity of alt-rock and the warmth of indie pop and folk, showcased on her debut EP, set for release in 2026.
Raised in post-Catholic Ireland, Roo draws inspiration from Irish lore and the feminine experience in a modern Ireland. Her recent single “Crazy” debuted on RTE2XM, opening a world for those ready to reclaim their power. Inspired by the raw energy of the post-punk revival and the rebellious spirit of the ’80s and ’90s, it showcases her signature blend of grit and intimacy. Both 'Crazy' and previous releases have been featured on the likes of Nialler9, GoldenPlec, Genuine Irish, the VIP Midlands103, and Roddie Cleere's Irish Music Show.
On stage, Roo and her band move between high-energy, guitar-driven moments and intimate, sing-along anthems that draw the crowd in. She has performed at Electric Picnic and Forest Fest, as well as well-known Irish venues and events including Ruby Sessions, Whelan’s, The Roisin Dubh, and Workman’s, and internationally at The Water Rats in London. Her shows connect with fans of Wolf Alice, Phoebe Bridgers, Yungblud, MUNA, and Ethel Cain — indie alt-pop/rock audiences craving both catharsis and connection.
