Queen Bitch is the music project of Róisín Bohan, blending elements of rock, blues, and grunge into a dynamic and emotionally charged sound. Since making her live debut in early 2023, she has released eight singles, with a debut album on the horizon.
In 2025, she unveiled a double single featuring two of the heavier tracks from the forthcoming album, showcasing a raw, grunge-driven edge to her work. Her debut album is on the way late 2026.
Her songwriting explores themes of transformation, resilience, and recovery, forming a deeply personal and cathartic body of work. Rooted in a non-linear creative process, her songs often emerge gradually through lived experience, reflection, and emotional change.
A familiar presence on Dublin’s live music scene, Queen Bitch has performed at venues including Fibber Magees, The Sound House, Sin É, and Bello Bar. She has also shared stages with acts such as Dumb Posh Hippies at The Workman’s Club and Big Woman at Whelan’s. Her releases have received coverage from Hot Press, The Other Side Reviews, The Last Mixed Tape, and Melodic Mag, among others.
