Kyral

Punk // Dublin

Kyral are a Progressive Pop-Punk band from Dublin, injecting the chaos back into guitar music. Their fast-paced, energetic sound grabs your attention and refuses to sit still. If you’re looking for relaxing music, then you’re looking in the wrong place. Their newly released EP MUTUALISM deals with themes of love, heartbreak and friendship set against a unique, progressive sound. Soaring vocals are complemented by exciting rhythms and catch riffs to create a transcendent experience.

Kyral began in the depths of Lockdown. The solitude allowed guitarist Tara Behan to lock into a unique sound, pushing 2000’s emo rock to strange, new places. Knowing that she was onto something special, she enlisted longtime friend Alex Webb on vocals. Alex’s powerful melodies soared above Tara’s frenetic guitars, resulting in an arresting sound.

The band have performed in venues across Dublin such as the Grand Social, Workman's Main Stage, Fibber Magee's, The Sound House and Lost Lane. Their music has been covered in Hot Press, RTE 2FM/2XM, Nialler9 and Golden Plec. Most notably, they were included in RTE 2XFM's Sessions from Oblivion, which is available now on YouTube, as well as the Next Big Thing Fest '26 on Workman's Main stage.
