Oceanna

Oceanna is a five-piece instrumental group based in Dublin blending jazz, hip-hop, neo soul, nu jazz, and the ocean. Inspired by modern nu-jazz artists Kokoroko, Alfa Mist, and Yussef Dayes, the band has developed a dynamic sound of their own that fuses groove and lyrical melodies with the vast, delicately crafted, guitar effects-driven soundscapes of guitarist Gabriel Bellator.

Since forming in 2023, Oceanna has rapidly made its mark on Ireland’s music scene. They released their self-titled debut EP in October 2025, which received widespread praise from both Irish and international press, hailed for its confident composition and cohesive sound.

Following the release of their EP, Oceanna completed their first Irish tour, selling out 4 dates. They have performed at renowned festivals and venues across Ireland, including All Together Now, Body & Soul, Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, and The Sugar Club. They have supported artists such as corto.alto, Chip Wickham, and Max Zaska.

Oceanna is set to release their second EP in Spring 2026, alongside a live performance video recorded at the renowned Windmill Lane Studios.
