Niall McNamee

Niall McNamee is an Irish singer-songwriter and actor who delivers indie energy mixed with a little bit of trad, great storytelling and a lot of charm. Celtic post-punk passion with a 21st Century singer-songwriter perspective, think Shane McGowan in a writing room with Dolores O’Riordan, Chris Martin and Alex Turner. Acting credits include the lead in award-winning film 'Love Without Walls', also starring opposite Pierce Brosnan, and featuring with Jackie Chan in 'The Foreigner'.

He has written and performed with leading Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May, their duet “Don’t Let Me Stand On My Own” off of '11 Past The Hour' making #1 album in the Irish charts.

Niall's charismatic live performances are rapidly growing his reputation with audiences.

2024 & 2025 saw sold out shows in Glasgow, Birmingham, Bury, Bristol, London (3 times) and Dublin. He has supported Louis Dunford, Melissa Ethridge, Declan O’Rourke, David Keenan, Junior Brother, The Dubliners, and The Wolfe Tones, and played Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk festival, each time picking up legions of new fans. In the past year, his music has been added to over 6000 Spotify playlists, with over a quarter of a million listens.

Niall released his debut album, Glass & Mirrors in October 2025, supported by a 20 date headline tour of UK & Ireland. In 2025 he also appeared in two feature films plus TV dramas ‘In Flight’ (Channel 4) and ‘Mix Tape’ (BBC 2).
Plans for 2026 include a lead acting and singing role in Mick Flannery's 'The House Must Win' and a new TV drama. He will be releasing a new EP in Autumn 2026.
