For Nina

Meeting in college studying Jazz and ironically bonding over a love of heavier music, For Nina formed rather organically. Taking inspiration from a wide array of genres (metal, folk, rock) having come from different musical backgrounds, For Nina found a sweet spot in the middle. “Together, they form a dense, lush soundscape of guitar distortion that carries them through effortlessly and becomes the bedrock on which the vocals can soar”

Within their year, For Nina played Ireland Music week 2024, and following that, started cropping up on great lineups across the city. In 2025, For Nina played multiple self promoted shows each of which have sold out and released two singles which have been championed by publications such as The Line Of Best Fit, DIY magazine, Rolling Stone UK, Nialler9 and HotPress. So far in 2026, the band started with a bang on Whelan’s Main Stage, Borderline festival and a run of shows across Ireland. Coming up, they have a new single sure to impress along with plenty of very exciting support slots and shows.
