Dermot Lambert

Writing, recording and performing music since 1980, Dermot Lambert has been involved with many projects, including the bands Empty Shell, Rex & Dino and then Blink, who went on to major success with platinum album sales across three continents from 1991 to 2005, earning such lofty accolades as Billboard Album of The Month, several top 10 singles and collaborations with Steve Hillage, Howie Beno, Moby and Blondie and DJ John Gibbons.

Whilst blazing a trail for Irish musicians with his Garageland Project in recent years, Dermot has had significant successes, including bringing the likes of Florence Road, Inhaler, Thanks Mom, The Script, Ryan Sheridan, Royseven, Delorentos, & Ham Sandwich to their first ever live shows .

Recent collaborations include Sunrocks & Shamflowers, and evening of youth music featuring young artists from Ukraine and Dublin, which Lambert curated and conducted in December 2023.

Lambert also led a youth group in the co-writing of 'Dublin Chant', which has featured on the St Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin from 2024 to 2026.
