Adam Loughran

Adam Loughran is an Irish singer-songwriter creating cinematic pop built around intimate storytelling, atmospheric production and the details people usually leave unsaid.

Growing up, Loughran began writing and recording music young, developing a style rooted in confession and scene-setting. His songs explore love, heartbreak, memory and the complicated space between wanting to leave and wanting someone to ask you to stay.

His earliest releases include I'll Write a Song and the project Remembering You, created with producer Jason Varley. Those recordings marked the beginning of a catalogue that has continued to evolve alongside Loughran himself.

Now entering a new chapter, Loughran is expanding that diaristic songwriting into a darker, more cinematic world. Pairing deeply personal lyrics with atmospheric pop production and carefully constructed visuals.

His new single, God Save Him, arrives September 4. Built around the contradictions of loving someone who can be both comfort and wound, the song introduces a world of devotion, resentment and reluctant tenderness encapsulated by one of its central lines: “You’re the nicest knife in the room.”

God Save Him marks the beginning of a larger body of work currently taking shape, with Loughran continuing to build a world where each song feels less like an isolated release and more like another piece of the same story.
