“There's a beating heart in those electronics"- Pitchfork
The electronic pop duo - producer Ian Ring and vocalist Rachel Koeman - from Cork, Ireland, broke through in mid-2012, after the release of their self-titled debut EP and stand-out single, ‘To You’. The band received nods from the likes of Pitchfork, The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland, Clash and more; topped the Hype Machine charts and received a Single of the Week nomination from BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart. Live, the band expands to a three-piece, whose selected highlights include a support slot for Alt J at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, prime slots at Latitude and Longitude festivals, plus a variety of UK and EU club shows.
They released their long awaited debut album Birth in May on Feel Good Lost. The 12-track album which features recent singles ‘Enchanted’, ‘Intergalactic’ and ‘Sweet Dreaming’ has received hugely positive critical acclaim across the board.
