Woodsmen

Woodsmen are a Dublin based independent Folk-Rock band looking to make a lasting mark on the Irish music scene. The band is a musical project fronted by musicians Arron Woods and Cam Teehan . Their amalgamation of genre creates a nostalgically fresh and engaging sound, making you think you’ve been listening to them for years. Woodsmen pays homage to the Folk Rock sphere of the late 60s and early 70s, through the fusion of acoustic and electric instrumentation, earthy natural drum tones, the utilisation of harmonies and the multitude of electric guitar textures associated with country, roots rock and rock & roll. The band have labelled this sound as Finglas Americana due to Woods’ songwriting matter being heavily linked to his North Dublin heritage. Equally versed in both full band and acoustic arrangement, their unique songwriting approaches will entice you to sing along to their songs regardless of how many times you’ve listened to them.
