William Reape is a hiphop artist blending raw lyricism, cinematic storytelling, and genre-defying production to create a sound uniquely his own

Born and raised in rural County Mayo, Ireland, Reape began writing short stories and poems as a child, a love for words that evolved into rapping. His love for hiphop and rap stemmed from his father, who introduced him to artists such as 50 Cent, Biggie Smalls, Eminem, and Kanye West.

He rose to prominence during the 2020 lockdown on TikTok as ‘PianoMan,’ the iconic black hood and mask, playing piano and music covers that drew over 50,000 followers and 80M+ views.

In November 2024, he debuted with Over Your Shoulder and Bored Doin’ Nothin’. The following July, he released P14N0M4N—making history as the first hip-hop album, and first full album of any genre, from his hometown of Ballina. P14N0M4N charted at number one in Irish Hiphop and number 18 in overall albums. a short six months after, he released H4PPY3ND1NGS0NLY, a sequel to his debut, leaning towards a summery rap pop vibe. Self-produced and unapologetically authentic, it cemented his reputation for switching effortlessly between sharp bars and soul-stirring vulnerability.
