Wifeswap

Wifeswap is the project of Offaly native Joe Brody, currently based in Dublin.

Fuelled by the sounds of The Velvet Underground, Gilla Band and the works of Samuel Beckett, Wifeswap debuted in October 2022 at a sold-out Workman’s Cellar gig. Since then they’ve taken to the stage at Whelan's Summer & Winter Ones to Watch & in support of Peter Doherty at his sold out Opium show in April 2023. In early 2024, the band has featured three times at The Workman's Club bank holiday events curated by Trevor Dietz (Fontaines D.C.)

Wifeswap debuted with their single 'Inertia' which Ann-Marie Kelly named "one of the best songs of the year" on her Roadhouse Café show and they were named among the top 30 bands in Ireland currently by The Neon Room at the end of 2023.
