Wayne Brereton

Wayne Brereton is a Folk/Ballad singer-songwriter from Co. Offaly. He has been playing

Guitar, Mandolin and Bass in gigging bands since the age of 14. After independently

releasing his Mini Album “The Robins Call” in 2023 Wayne Sparked the interest of US Label

Singular Recordings and is now in the final stage of his full debut album to be released this

autumn. His forthcoming album will also feature some well-known Irish musicians who have

taken to his songwriting and Lyrical Content. Artists such as Niamh Varian Barry who has

appeared on the first single The Robin from the forthcoming album, as well as Noriana

Kennedy from The Whileaways John Doyle from (Solas/ Karan Casey) and Cork

Singer/Songwriting Legend John Spillane will also feature on this upcoming album of

Original Material. Outside of His own music, Wayne is also working on some transatlantic

song writing Projects with Folk/Americana Acts Such as Van Plating to Name a few.

In The Coming Months We will see more original material being released by Wayne in his

unmistakable Irish Midlands Voice which will feature the artists named above, ahead of the
