Chilean-born, Dublin-based songwriter producer Vaticanjail delivers an immersive dream-like experience with a unique blend of her Latin roots, contemporary dream pop, and alternative indie sounds. Finding her roots in classical training, Vaticanjail has been developing her craft as a singer, pianist and producer from a very early age, intending to push the boundaries of contemporary bedroom pop by melding ethereal vocals and sweet harmony arrangements over electronic production and sampling absurdity. She has created an emotive voice of her own permeated by vulnerability, reflecting on how the environment surrounding her changed over the years as an immigrant child, narrating the tale of a soul split between the Irish and Chilean cultures.

Her most recent single ‘NEXT2U’ invites her audience to enter a world of sonic magical realism through the eyes of the artists’s sensitivity. The oxymoronic essence of the song embodies delirium colliding with innocence, where drawing inspiration from her own experiences with states of contentious confusion, Vaticanjail aims to illustrate the purest, most unfiltered version of herself. Ultimately, her goal is to create a bridge between human emotion, life experiences and artistic expression, and she is currently working on her debut EP slated to be released later this year.
