Valerie Gunning

Valerie Gunning is a Violinist, Pianist, and Instrumental Teacher from Limerick, Ireland. Currently violinist with Limerick New Music Ensemble and The University of Limerick Orchestra, and fiddle player with Clare Traditional Orchestra based at Glór Theatre, Ennis.

Valerie performs both nationally and internationally with orchestras, as well as being in demand as a session violinist, event pianist, and accompanist.

In addition to her live performance career she runs a busy music teaching practice where she teaches violin and piano to students of all ages, from beginner to advanced.

She holds a Masters in Music Performance from University College Cork, and both Violin and Piano Teaching Diplomas from London College of Music, University of West London.
