Band Bio
ULTRAS are a five-piece indie rock band from Baile Átha Cliath, Éire. Loud. Loyal. Unapologetically Irish.
In just eight months together, they have already stormed the Dublin scene. A hat trick of 2025 singles, with both their third and fourth releases separately named Track of the Week on Laura Fox’s Show on RTÈ 2FM, along with spins across RTÉ 2FM, Cork Red FM and Clare FM Artist of the Week, as well as airplay in the US and Europe. Hot Press magazine has praised their momentum and highlighted their sold out Whelan’s Upstairs shows, with the second earning an incredible write up; https://www.hotpress.com/music/live-report-ultras-swept-whelans-up-with-their-invigorating-set-23116963
Live, ULTRAS command stages from the cellar to the main room of The Workman’s Club, The Grand Social, The Bernard Shaw, Sin É, Soundhouse and the Hard Rock Cafe. Their sound is packed with early 2000s indie energy, soaked in Irish feeling, with lyrics rooted in Irish pride, romance, emigration, faith and community. Opening slots with Malaki in the Workmans 27th February 2026 and their upcoming festival debut at Scene and Heard festival in Smock Alley Theate on 26th February 2026 mark the next chapter for a band moving fast and making every show count.
