Mayo born singer songwriter, Tracy Gallagher’s rich, haunting vocals and sharp and catchy song-writing style have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life and earned her a rightful place amongst Ireland’s finest emerging indie folk artists. Having tried her hand over the years at a number of various careers from French teaching to hypnotherapy, Tracy finally decided it was time to commit herself fully to music and produce her first studio recorded work. This ultimately led to converting an old work van into a rustic home on wheels and hitting the road to write and live out her dreams as a wayfaring musician.
Always a lover of travelling and the open road, Tracy spent a year backpacking in South America and her travels have always greatly inspired her songwriting. Developing her musicianship and songwriting skills throughout the years, Tracy is finally set to release her debut EP ‘The Fallen’ later this year. Her debut single ‘Sit With Me’ received national airplay and generous laudits from well-known Irish radio personalities. Tracy is soon to announce a national tour to coincide with the release of her EP.
