TOOMS

TOOMS are a Metallic Sludge trio from the West of Ireland, consisting of James Anto Donellan on bass, Kieran Grace on drums/vocals and Alex Holzinger on guitar/vocals.

Drawing inspiration from ignorant caveman riffs, doom's thick tones, the raw attack of death metal and hardcore's cold aggression, they offer a unique cocktail of filthy, pummeling heft that is comfortable exploring more progressive and experimental territories.

Since signing with Cursed Monk Records in 2018, TOOMS have been consistently gigging, writing and recording. After the release of their debut full length "The Orb Offers Massive Signals" in 2020 they went on to self-release their second EP, "The Shmeckoning”, in 2023.

Playing the closing set on the Jagermeister Stage at Bloodstock Open Air in 2022 led to tours in Ireland and the UK in 2023, garnering an international following.

After opening for titans Crowbar & Weedeater, and playing a handful of Irish festivals, in 2024 & 2025, TOOMS went under the radar and recorded a second full length with long time collaborator, Chris Quigley, in the Meadow Studios.

TOOMS are set to release their sophomore record KARST on May 31st, with Cursed Monk (LP), Fiadh (Cassette) and Road to Masochist (CD).

KARST has been mixed by the legendary Matt Bayles and mastered by equally legendary Chris Fielding.
