Three Rod Wale

Three Rod Wale are a folk group based in Galway, featuring Jack McHugh (mandolin and banjo) and siblings Hannah (vocals) and Diarmaid Geever (Guitar). They share a love for folk songs of the British Isles and the Appalachian mountains. They approach songs, vocals first, with the two lads adding instrumental accompaniment. First meeting at an open mic in Galway they have been playing together for one year and are continually developing their repertoire of songs. The group was awarded showcase winner at the Ballyshannon folk festival 2025.
