Martello

Acoustic // Sutton, Dublin

Martello is a 24-year-old artist from Dublin, Ireland, blending acoustic-driven and ambient
music to craft a distinct and immersive sound. Drawing inspiration from Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and James Vincent McMorrow, he bridges their organic warmth with the modern, experimental
textures of RY X, Tamino, and Talos. With ethereal falsetto vocals, intricate guitar work, and
intimate, earthy tones, Martello's music aims to create a cinematic experience that resonates
deeply with listeners.

A seasoned performer, he has been on stage since childhood, training classically from
the age of seven. At just 13, he performed solo at Carnegie Hall as part of the Palestrina
Choir. In 2019, he headlined the Coláiste Lurgan stage, with performances that have amassed
over 100,000 views. With years of professional experience, he is set on making his own mark
on the global music scene.

Finishing out a strong year with shows in London and Belfast, as well as a showcase at
Ireland Music Week, Martello is now finding his rhythm in 2026 with plans for festival
appearances, an upcoming EP in October, and further building out his live performance. With
a lot of writing already underway, he is focused on expanding his musical journey and turning
the energy of his live performances into a growing body of work, seen with a second
appearance at the Ruby Sessions in March of this year.
