The Kates are one of Ireland's most exciting new bands, bringing a fresh wave of indie rock to the scene. This all-female five-piece from West Cork is making waves with their razor-sharp hooks, driving rhythms, and vocal harmonies. Their debut EP "Pictures Here of Dreams" is a statement of intent, showcasing their unique sound and style.

The Kates have recently taken to the stage at Electric Picnic festival, Other Voices Dingle, Night and Day Festival Roscommon and completed a successful tour of Ireland and Wales. They've also been making waves in their hometown, selling out shows at DeBarra's, Levis in Ballydehob, Connolly's Leap, and Coughlan's in Cork. To top it off, they've had the opportunity to support acclaimed singer-songwriter Mick Flannery, further cementing their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the Irish music scene.

Their music has received significant airplay on RTÉ Radio 1, with two singles from "Pictures Here of Dreams" featured on the Recommends list for four weeks. They recently featured on RTE 1 programme Seisuin, performing their song Unbalancing. Their live shows have been praised for their energy and charisma, with their intricate vocal harmonies adding a rich layer of depth to their performances.

With their blend of catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and soaring vocal harmonies, The Kates are set to take the music world by storm.
