The Fae

Alternative // Dublin, Dublin

'The Fae are a powerhouse of indie, power pop, shoegaze and alternative rock, with their new brand of big chorus guitar music permeating through the very fabric of the band’s seams'' - Hot Press

The Fae are an Alternative Rock trio from Dublin, Ireland.
Formed in Dublin, January 2022, The Fae play loud faerie music inspired by Alt-Rock, Dreampop, and Goth rock modalities.

Debut single Chloe was released in March 2023, and saw them become one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from Ireland in recent years.
Early support has come from Steve Lamacq at BBC 6music who played the track 3 times in the first week of release. As well as an interview and track of the week from Lemacq on following single 2004 John Kennedy on Radio X who made it both his 'X-Posure Hot One' and then 'X-Posure Big One' over the first 2 weekends of the release, Nialler9 video premiere, Hot Press Magazine 'Track of the Day', 2FM 'Track of the Week', and Amazing Radio.

Debut EP bloodrush came later that September, along with an announcement from Bassist/Vocalist Emma Hempton that the band will be taking a step back from live performance for the foreseeable future as she awaits a liver transplant.
Hempton, who lives with Cystic Fibrosis, notes the unpredictable nature of touring and hopes to return to live performance to a manageable capacity.
