The Elusives

Music should not be boxed in.
The Elusives live by this philosophy, drawing thoughtfully from decades of musical history to create a sound distinctly their own.
The band’s roots stretch back to the mid-1990s, when multi-instrumentalist Paul Gilligan and drummer Joe Brady first began writing together. After life and other projects pulled them in different directions, their creative connection brought them back together in 2014 to officially form The Elusives.
For years, they lived up to their name, operating in the shadows by playing rare live shows and sharing lo-fi home demos with a close-knit online community.
In 2025, vocalist Laura Hand joined the line-up, adding a new atmospheric and harmonic dimension to the group.
With Paul’s cinematic guitars and synths, Joe’s driving rhythms, and vocal duties shared across the trio, the final pieces fell into place.
The Elusives are now ready to bring their music to the world. Their highly anticipated debut single, “Run Away Into the Night,” drops on 9 October 2026.
It’s all about to happen.
