Background
Ciarán Wynne is an Irish singer/songwriter and guitarist from Kildare Town, Ireland. With roots in folk, blues, and traditional Irish music, Ciarán brings a distinctive voice and introspective songwriting to his work, which resonates with audiences across Ireland and beyond. For over three decades, he’s been sharing his original sound, blending heartfelt lyrics with a unique fusion of folk/rock and Americana influences.

Ciarán has performed opening up for some of Ireland’s most celebrated artists, such as Sharon Shannon and Luka Bloom, and he’s a familiar name at major music festivals and venues across Ireland, including the Rose of Tralee, Puck Fair, and The Kildare Derby. His live performances have drawn crowds to iconic venues like the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin, Dolan’s Warehouse in Limerick, and The Quays in Galway.
He recently performed at the Tralee Arts Festival in Kerry and The 18th International Blues and Rock Festival in Altzella, Germany, marking Ciarán’s third tour in Germany. He has also performed extensively across Europe and North America, with memorable performances in cities like Amsterdam, London, Montreal, Florida, Nerja, and Sarajevo, bringing his distinctive Irish sound to an international audience.

Ciarán has recorded three solo albums to date (No Way Home, Turquoise and Brown, and Montreal ) and is currently working on his fourth album. Each of these releases has showcased his versatility, from reflective love songs to high-energy rock-influenced tracks. His debut album, No Way Home, received critical acclaim from Irish music outlets, with praise for his strong, character-filled voice and the high production quality of his music.
