thanks mom are composed of Erica (vocals, lead guitar), Grace (vocals, rhythm guitar), Amelie (bass) and Cillian (drums) a lofi indie alternative rock band hailing from County Kildare, Ireland. Already listed as one of the Hottest Irish Artists to watch in 2024 by Hot Press!

Thanks Mom are an authentic shed band with a plethora of singles & two albums under their belt. Their first album was called "not good". They then went on to release our second album last year, “Do u wanna like, go home?” Trading in themes like life, death, sadness, friendship, self-hatred, and feelings of giving up.

On September 28th thanks mom released "if you want me". Which tells the story about the desperate desire to fit in. “One of the 100 best Irish songs of 2023” by Radio Nova 100.

thanks mom has had a great year gigging across Ireland playing at venues such as The Workman's Club as part of Ireland Music Week, The Sound House Dublin, HMV Dublin, The Naas Bealtaine Festival, The Launch of Toales Venue Dundalk, Battle of the Bands-The Anvil, Darky Kellys, Bintfest, Culture Night, IADT Talent Search and Forest Fest Emo 2023!

Heavily influenced by artists/bands like Car Seat Headrest, Los Campensinos!, The Breeders, Neutral Milk Hotel, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers & Black Country, New Road you’ll hear sprinklings of those influences in their music.

Thanks Mom are currently working on more new material which will be released this coming spring.
