Dublin, County Dublin
Sharpson is a house project from DJ and Producer Dónal Sharpson. Sharpson has over 10 years experience when it comes to DJing and producing. As well as playing all over Ireland, holding several residencies in Dublin City, he is also accustomed to playing all over Europe and the UK with a variety of musical projects.
The ‘Sharpson’ project concentrates on the club and is about supplying dance-floor fillers. With elements of House, Disco, Electro and 80’s Pop, a ‘Sharpson’ set is guaranteed to get people on their feet. Already his tracks such as ‘Baby Don’t Hold Back’ and ‘Why Don’t You Come On Out’ have been rocking dancefloors all over Ireland and the UK, and praised by the likes of DJ Deece, Marcus O'Laoire and Brame & Hamo. A ‘Sharpson’ gig is always upbeat and full of energy and one not to be missed.
As well as DJing, the ‘Sharpson’ project can also be seen as a live band! It has Sharpson joined by a bassist, percussionist and synth player, giving the crowd a set of live lo-fi and funky house music, similar to acts such as ‘Ross From Friends’, ‘Le Boom’ and ‘George Fitzgerald’.
