SHANI is an atmospheric singer-songwriter from Donegal, blending alt-folk and indie-pop to create cinematic, story-driven songs with smoky, intimate vocals. Her sound was born from late-night demos and collaborations at Softgut Songwriting Camp in Newry, where she met her producer and began crafting haunting, minimalist arrangements that linger in the mind.

Based between Donegal and Dublin, SHANI draws inspiration from both coastal stillness and city energy. Her live performances in Donegal and Dublin have established her as an artist capable of turning vulnerability into power - connecting with audiences through immersive, emotive songwriting.

Influenced by The Cranberries, David Bowie, Florence Welch, Blondie, and Radiohead, SHANI channels their spirit of honesty and experimentation to create music that’s emotional, empowering, and unexpected.
