My name is Seán Joyce, I’m 25 years old and from County Mayo. I have been releasing music since 2022, with my debut single, While You Were Out, launching in November 2022. I hit the ground running with early support slots for Paul Noonan in Cork and Sorcha Richardson on her 2023 German tour (Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg). Since then, I have released a series of singles to unprecedented support.
In 2024, I supported Milk at The Academy, played my first festival at All Together Now, opened for a sold-out Kevin Garrett show at The Grand Social, and headlined my first show at Whelan’s. I capped off the year by supporting James Vincent McMorrow at Vicar Street. Throughout 2024, I continued releasing music, culminating in my debut EP, If My Pockets Were Deep, which was released on November 1st via Faction Records. The singles from the EP were featured on key Spotify playlists such as A Breath of Fresh Éire, New Music Friday UK, and Fresh Finds UK & IE.
In 2025 I had one of my most successful and enjoyable years. I started off playing ' Whelans Ones To Watch' and supported Sebastian Schub. After releasing a series of singles I played 'All Together Now'. In October I played my first showcase 'Ireland Music Week'. I followed that with playing in my hometown, Mayo, with David Keenan. I finished the month off with supporting Niamh Regan in Bello Bar and Emily Scott Robinson in Whelans. I capped the year off playing a series of shows across London with Sofar Sounds.
So far in 2026, I have started the release of my new Ep ' All In Good Time (Chapter One)'.
