Séamus Ong is a Uilleann piper and Whistle player from Palmerstown in Dublin.

Séamus performs professionally as a solo artist and as a session musician working with many of Ireland's foremost artists. Séamus works as a music tutor teaching Uilleann pipes and Whistles to students of all ages and levels. Séamus teaches Uilleann pipes at Na Píobairí Uilleann (Headquarters of Uilleann piping)

Séamus plays and works with bands and artists including Faró Ireland, Séan Collins, Glen Hansard, and the renowned Trad fusion band Kíla.

Séamus has also performed with many of Ireland's foremost artists, including Hoizer, Dermot Kennedy, the Script, Liam O'Maonlai and many more.

Séamus performs as a solo musician nationally and internationally, performing in Santiago de Compostela for International Uilleann Pipe Day, at the Algarve music series in Faro, Portugal, and many more. Séamus also performed as a solo artist at the funeral of Irish music legend Shane MacGowan and is currently working on adding Uilleann pipes to several songs on the Upcoming Shane MacGowan Tribute album, The 20th Century Paddy.

Séamus released his debut single 'Flight of the Cuckoo' featuring his own compositions, and Séamus is also working on his own Solo album.
