SARAN

SARAN is a singer-songwriter based in a rural village outside Armagh. A multi-instrumentalist proficient in over 16 instruments, he has performed at venues across Northern Ireland, including The Black Box, Market Place Theatre, and Ardhowen Theatre, as well as Speiches Rock & Blues Club in Berlin. His experience includes pit orchestra work at Belfast’s Grand Opera House and appearances at the All-Ireland Fleadh playing the saxophone.

SARAN’s songwriting is inspired by everyday life, our struggles and strengths, good days and bad days, as well as the people we meet along the way. His music combines elements of Folk, Americana, and Blues.

His musical influences include Tom Waits, Van Morrison, John Prine, and Bruce Springsteen.
