Saint Sylvia

Saint Sylvia are a tradgaze three piece from Maynooth consisting of vocal duo Shar Dullaghan and Eimear Harrington, and fiddle player William Dunne.

Crafting elements of trip-hop, Irish trad, and 90’s Lilith faire Saint Sylvia weave a wistful rural gothic melancholy through their tracks by drawing on influences such as Sinead O’Connor, Horslips, and Portishead, while also embodying the boldness of The Breeders, PJ Harvey, and Wednesday. Drawing on themes such as devotion, self-destruction, and longing, Saint Sylvia is dedicated to bringing Catholic guilt to a sound system near you.
