Hailing from Derry, Northern Ireland, Rowdy are a four- piece post-rock/alternative rock outfit carving out a sound that bridges raw intensity with atmospheric depth. The band blend heavy, driving rhythms with soaring melodies and cinematic textures.
Drawing influence from the grit and emotion of 70s rock legends like the B-52’s while weaving in the dreamy, modern touches of artists such as Hers and Sorry, Rowdy’s music feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. Their debut singles, “Rolling” and “Tatooine”, have already made waves locally, showcasing the band’s ability to shift seamlessly between brooding atmospheres and explosive energy.
Rowdy have headlined multiple shows across Derry, including the Rock for Pride fundraiser, and continue to build momentum with their commanding live performances.
