Multi-award-winning Irish singer-songwriter , producer and pianist Rob Burke has built a
global reputation as a dynamic live performer and accomplished songwriter. He
began playing piano as a child and rose to prominence in Dublin’s live music
scene during the 1980s, performing regularly at legendary piano bar’s
establishing himself as one of Ireland’s standout piano entertainers.
Burke has since performed around the world, appearing in venues from Los
Angeles to Beijing.
As a songwriter and recording artist, he has released several albums and
singles, with some reaching top 10 success in Ireland.
Over the years, Burke has collaborated with acclaimed international songwriters
including Jack Tempchin (The Eagles’ “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Already
Gone”), Paul Williams (“We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Evergreen”), and legendary
Motown songwriter Lamont Dozier (“You Can’t Hurry Love,” “Baby Love”). In
Ireland, he has written with notable Irish artists including Jimmy MacCarthy,
Shay Healy, Liam Reilly, and Sinéad O'Connor.
During his international career, Burke has also performed, collaborated,
befriended and shared stages with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Neil
Young, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Jones, and
Michael Bolton to name just a few !
Most recently, Burke released Irish Connection Vol. 1, an album featuring songs
co-written with Jack Tempchin along with selections from Tempchin’s
renowned catalogue, featuring guest artist and collaborator Mickey Harte. He
is currently recording Irish Connection Vol. 2, which will feature special guest
Paul Harrington.
With decades of international touring, acclaimed collaborations, and a
signature piano-driven style, Rob Burke continues to bring his music to
